A Celebration of the Life
of
Your Loved One
A funeral is a sad
occasion but it is also an opportunity to publicly recognise how much your loved one meant and means to you. There is so much to do after someone dies but preparing the funeral ceremony is the most important task of all.
Family and friends will come together as one and you will have the opportunity to share the love that you feel and recall some of the rich memories of your loved one’s life.
A celebration
of life ceremony is a person centred celebration, inspired by the life that the deceased led. Did they believe in God? What about music, pop or punk, classical , or maybe they preferred hymns…the choice is yours. Did they have a favourite reading or poem that we can read aloud?
And their Grandchildren, perhaps they would like to write a few words to be read out. Not everyone has a spouse or children but everyone has an array of likes and loves, the small and big things that make up a life lived to the full.
Your celebrant
can help you craft the celebration your loved one deserves. My name is Brendan and I have been working with families for over 7 years to create warm, respectful and uplifting ceremonies, reflecting the memories and love that the bereaved feel.
Sometimes you will deliver the tribute or eulogy and my role is to facilitate. More often than not I have been asked to write and read the short story of the persons life and it is a privilege to do so.
If you think we can work together please get in touch, you will find my contact details below.
